In addition to his roles at Viking Gold, Mr. Mark Edwards is the Managing Partner, Finance & Analysis, of 4Growth Management Consultants based in Markham, Ontario.
Mark understands several different financial accounting systems, financial reporting systems and corporate governance for all levels of business.
As a partner in Gilmore & Company, Chartered Accountants, for over 20 years, Mark has extensive experience with companies of all sizes - from the small startup to international, mid-size companies. The accounting firm not only provided accounting, audit and tax services, but assisted with arranging financing through various sources, both public and private.
Mark has been involved at the senior management level in smaller public companies including the CEO and CFO roles as well as being a Director. Through these experiences, he is well aware of the issues and constraints facing public companies today.
Mark is an Ontario CPA (2013), CA (1979) and also holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo (1978).

Mr. Jaime McVicar is a partner in the Business Law group of Dentons Canada LLP. Focusing on securities-related matters Jaime’s practice primarily involves advising issuers, underwriters and investors in domestic and international public and private financings, including venture capital financing, domestic and cross-border merger and acquisitions, and assisting public companies with their on-going reporting and corporate governance obligations. Jaime also focuses on assisting exploration and mining companies with corporate and commercial transactions, including property and equipment acquisitions, joint ventures, option agreements and royalty agreements.
Prior to joining Dentons Canada, Jaime was a partner at another major Toronto law firm where he focused on corporate finance and corporate/commercial transactions. Jaime also spent close to three years as legal counsel in the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). As OSC legal counsel, Jaime was involved with prospectus and applications work, as well as in policy initiatives relating to exempt distributions, continuous disclosure for requirements for foreign issuers and automated trading systems.
Jaime was recently appointed to the OSC's Securities Advisory Committee for a two-year term. The committee provides advice to the OSC on a variety of matters, including legislative and policy initiatives and important capital markets trends. Members of the committee are selected based on their knowledge of Ontario securities law, significant practice experience, and strong interest in the development of securities regulatory policy.
Jaime holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta (1994) and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Queen's University (1989).
Dr. Robert Ginn was responsible for planning the NWT exploration programs of Viking Gold for 2005 to 2010 and the related limnic survey of 2007. He also assumed the role of President and CEO in 2005.
On November 1, 2009, Robert became a Fellow of Engineers Canada. Robert has been a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario since 1956 and has served on Council as the Lieutenant Governor’s Appointee and as Chair of significant committees over a six-year period.
After 1962, Robert worked as a field or exploration manager for such companies as Texas Gulf Sulphur Inc. and Gulf Resources and Chemical Corporation, and then as President of St. Joseph Exploration Ltd. and its successor companies (Sulpetro, Novamin and Breakwater). He also worked as a consultant before joining Viking Gold.
From 1954 to 1962, Robert was a practicing geologist (Mapping Senior/Party Leader in government). He taught in university from 1957 to 1959.
Robert holds a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Geology, Geophysics and Minerology from the University of Toronto (1961), and Bachelor of Science (1954) and Master of Science (1958) degrees from Queen's University.
